Laurence Fishburne Denied Restraining Order Against Alleged Stalker
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — Laurence Fishburne has been denied in his request for a three-year restraining order against a man who threatened to evict The Matrix star from his home, claiming he owned it.
A Los Angeles judge determined Wednesday that Anthony Francis’ actions didn’t warrant an extension of the order, according to E! Online.
Francis, a convicted felon, visited Fishburne’s home in the Los Angeles area on January 1 and told the actor’s wife he was the property’s rightful owner.
Fishburne subsequently obtained a temporary restraining order against Francis, who was barred from coming within 100 yards of the actor, his wife and daughter, and their property.
