(LOS ANGELES) — Making his return to the lineup after missing the last three games because of a bruised right kneecap, Clippers guard Chris Paul scored a team-high 22 points and had 11 assists as Los Angeles (32-9) vanquished the Washington Wizards (8-30), 94-87.
The six-time all-star scored 7 of his 22 points in the final 3:14 to give L.A. their 24th victory in their last 27 games Saturday night. He would finish the game 6 for 16 from the field.
Clippers forward Blake Griffin contributed 17 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, despite shooting 5 for 18. He was 7 for 10 from the charity stripe.
Guard John Wall led the Wizards with 24 points in 31 minutes of action.
