(LOS ANGELES) — Oscar host Seth MacFarlane and actress Emma Stone are set to announce this year’s Academy Awards nominations on Thursday morning. The nominees for the 85th Academy Awards will be announced at 5:30 a.m. PT inside the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, Calif.
MacFarlane’s participation marks the first time since 1972 that a host has participated in the nominations announcement.
Several films expected to garner multiple Oscar nods include Lincoln, which has led the nominations pack since the Golden Globes, along with Argo, Life of Pi and Silver Linings Playbook. The controversial film Zero Dark Thirty along with Christmas Day blockbusters Django Unchained and Les Miserables are also expected to make big splashes at the Oscars.
James Bond will also be honored by the Academy Awards. The producers announced earlier that the ABC telecast will include a tribute to the Bond franchise, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2012. Chances are good that the titular theme song to the current Bond film, Skyfall, performed and co-written by Adele, will also receive an Oscar nod.
ABC will air the 85th Academy Awards on February 24.
