(MINNEAPOLIS) — Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love has been sidelined for the second-time this season with a broken right hand, an MRI taken Saturday revealed.
The 24-year-old Love re-fractured his third metacarpal in his hand, according to the team. He will be examined by a hand specialist later this week in New York. No timetable has been set for his return.
The two-time NBA all-star re-injured himself in the third quarter of Thursday night’s victory against the Denver Nuggets.
In 18 games this season, Love is averaging 18.3 points and 14 rebounds per game.
