(BALTIMORE) – Charm city threw a party for the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday.
Thousands of fans, decked out in the team colors of purple and black, lined the streets as Super Bowl XLVII MVP Joe Flacco and the Ravens made their way from City Hall to M&T Bank Stadium. Once the team arrived at the stadium, they were greeted by a packed house of vocal fans.
“I love you forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever,” Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis told fans in front of City Hall before leaving for the parade.
The 37-year-old Lewis announced before the playoffs that the 2012 season would be his last. The 13-time Pro Bowler leaves the gridiron as a two-time Super Bowl champion.
