(LOS ANGELES) — Disney’s video game-inspired hit Wreck-It Ralph earned the title of best animated feature Saturday at the 40th Annual Annie Awards in Los Angeles.
The ceremony, presented by the International Animated Film Society, annually honors the best in animation.
Wreck-It Ralph received the award over seven other animated films, including Brave, Frankenweenie and ParaNorman.
Marvel’s The Avengers picked up the award for best animated effects in a live-action production, and the Oscar-nominated film Life of Pi took the character animation in a live-action production category.
Robot Chicken was among the TV winners.
