(WASHINGTON) — Jobless claims snapped their three-week downward streak last week, climbing by 2,000, according to the latest figures released Thursday by the Labor Department.
For the week ending March 16, the number of people filing for benefits rose to 336,000. The previous week, claims stood at 334,000.
The four-week average, meanwhile, fell, dropping by 7,500 to 339,750.
