(LOS ANGELES) — Lil Wayne has left Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles following his hospitalization last week for a reported seizure.
Mack Maine, president of Wayne’s label, Young Money/Cash Money, tweeted Monday night, “Thanks to Cedar Sinai for everything!!! [Lil Wayne] has been officially been released and is headed home….God is great.”
Earlier in the day, TMZ reported that Wayne had been moved out of the intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai and had been placed in another room after doctors declared he was in stable condition.
There are conflicting reports about what sparked Wayne’s health scare, but TMZ reports that the rapper suffered a suspected codeine overdose.
