(LOS ANGELES) — A 12-year-old boy has admitted to “swatting” Ashton Kutcher last fall.
The boy, whose name has not been released and who was charged last month in the case, admitted on Monday to making a false bomb threat and computer intrusion, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors have said Los Angeles police officers were sent to Kutcher’s home on Oct. 3 in response to a 911 call falsely indicating that armed men were inside.
The boy had also been accused of making false 911 calls involving Justin Bieber’s home as well as a Los Angeles bank, but those charges are expected to be dismissed when he is sentenced.
A sentencing date has not been set.
