(BOISE, ID) – The directors of Idaho’s prison system are looking for a new medical contractor following a lengthy dispute with Corizon Correctional Healthcare. Following a demand for a raise, the Idaho Department of Correction agreed to pay Corizon $250,000 over what was originally budgeted the next six months, and will be looking for new bidders through January. The state currently has an annual contract with Corizon of more than $27 million.
