Senators Co-Sponsor Bills Protecting Control Towers
Published at(BOISE, ID) – U.S. Senators Jim Risch and Mike Crapo are backing a bipartisan plan that could keep four of Idaho’s air traffic control towers open. The measure would keep the towers from closing through the end of fiscal year 2014. Crapo claims that the Federal Aviation Administration is ignoring public safety concerns, and that there are alternatives that won’t break the FAA’s budget.
