(POCATELLO, ID) – Idaho’s unemployment rate is holding steady at 6.2 percent.  State labor officials say Camas County has the best overall unemployment rate of only 3.2 percent. However, areas of northern Idaho are still struggling, with unemployment rates of well over ten percent in Benewah, Clearwater, and Shoshone counties. Experts say that while the Gem State’s labor numbers are improving faster than the national average, fewer employers are creating new positions than in previous years.
