(OAKLAND, Calif) -- Stephen Curry, who was playing on a sprained left ankle, scored 29 points and dished out 11 assists leading the Golden State Warriors past the Denver Nuggets 110-108 Friday night.
The Warriors now lead their best-of seven playoff series 2-1.
" Feels good," Curry said of his ankle. "Just thankful to be able to get through the game without any instances. I will continue my treatment and hopefully it feels even better come Sunday."
The game went down to the wire and wasn't determined until Andre Iguodala missed a 3-pointer as time expired.
Jarrett Jack compiled 23 points and seven assists, and Harrison Barnes and Carl Landry each scored 19 in the win.
Ty Lawson scored a game high 35 points, and his 3-pointer with 8:51 left in the third quarter gave the Nuggets a 71-58 lead. The Warriors then went on a 15-2 run to take the lead. After that neither team led by more than six points.
Game 4 is Sunday in Oakland. Tip-off is set for 9:30 PM eastern time.
