They beat out Angie Miller, who was eliminated Thursday night. Angie said goodbye with an emotional performance of former Idol contestant Colton Dixon’s “Never Gone.”

Candice and Kree will go head-to-head on Wednesday night’s performance show on FOX.

At the beginning of the show, host Ryan Seacrest made a sly reference to the announcement earlier in the day by judge Randy Jackson that Jackson is leaving the show after next week’s finale. Seacrest turned Jackson’s chair as he said, “Of course, a little later on, we’ll be revealing who is leaving our show.”  After Ryan and Randy exchanged glances, Ryan added, “Maybe a heads up.” Randy laughed.

Kree, Angie and Candice kicked the night off singing Selena Gomez’s “Who Says.”

Season 10 runner up Lauren Alaina returned to the show to sing her new single, “Barefoot and Buckwild.” Alicia Keys was also on hand to sing “Tears Always Win,” and judge Mariah Carey gave the Idols a primer on making videos before debuting her new clip, “#Beautiful” with Miguel.

Though many changes are rumored for next season of Idol, auditions are still happening this summer. Here are the dates:

7/16 — San Francisco, CA
7/21 — Detroit, MI
7/26 — Atlanta, GA
8/2 — Boston, MA
8/7 — Austin, TX
8/11 — Omaha, NE
