District 25 Considering Budget Cuts; Including P.E.

(POCATELLO, ID) – The Pocatello/Chubbuck school district is considering ways to cut more than $1.4 million from next year’s budget. Options include eliminating physical education in elementary schools and cutting salaries for high school counselors and other administrators. Officials say the state’s overall education budget has been cut by more than $550 million over the past decade.
