(LOS ANGELES) — The Recording Academy has set the dates for the next two years for what it calls “music’s biggest night.”
The 56th Annual Grammy Awards is set to air live from Los Angeles’ Staples Center on Jan. 26, 2014 and the 57th Annual Grammy Awards will air on Feb. 8, 2015, the Academy announced Monday.
This year’s live telecast attracted 28.7 million viewers, a decline from 2012’s awards, which got a bump due to the unexpected death of pop icon Whitney Houston. Still, ratings were the second-highest since 1993.
The Recording Academy — which awards the Grammys — will continue its tradition of producing a week-long series of events including the annual MusiCares Person of the Year tribute and the Pre-Grammy Gala co-hosted by Clive Davis.
There’s still no word on who will host next year’s awards ceremony. This year, LL Cool J did the honors.
Tune in to the 2014 Grammy Awards on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
