(PARIS) — Angelina Jolie celebrated her 38th birthday on Tuesday, but on Monday night, she received a surprise from her fiancé, Brad Pitt, in Paris.
According to People magazine, after attending the premiere of his latest film, World War Z, at the Normandie Theatre, Pitt hosted a surprise dinner for two at Il Vino, an expensive wine restaurant in the City of Lights.
“Their main plate was langoustines with a French wine,” one source told the magazine. “And there was a dessert — a cake, because it was her birthday.”
“It was very subtle, real cool,” another diner added. “They came in very unobtrusively. It was real fast. They walked by, and I said to my husband, ‘I think I just saw Brad and Angelina walk by us.’ And he said, ‘I think you may have had one glass of wine too many already.'”
After their private dinner, Jolie and Pitt joined others at the World War Z after-party inside Silencio, a Paris nightclub.
