(NEW YORK) — Brad Pitt is a one man publicity machine. On Thursday, he surprised fans in Atlanta by showing up at a screening of his new end-of-the-world zombie movie World War Z. Then, later that same day he did the same thing in Philadelphia.
In the film, Pitt plays a former United Nations investigator who lives in Philadelphia and must save the world from a zombie epidemic.
E!online reports Pitt told his Philly fans, “I thank you guys for coming. I’m really excited to be showing you this because our film opens up in Philly. Spoiler alert: It doesn’t go well!”
Pitt said of the action thriller, “It’s big. It’s badass, and I guarantee you it’s the most intense thing you’ll see all summer.”
World War Z opens nationwide on June 21.
