(LOS ANGELES) — Outfielder Matt Kemp was activated from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday and played in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ win over the San Francisco Giants later that night.

Kemp hit fifth and started in center field for the Dodgers, going 1-for-4 with a run scored.

The 28-year-old Kemp missed the previous 24 games with a strained right hamstring.

Before getting called up to the Dodgers, Kemp played three rehab games for Triple-A Albuquerque, where he went 2-for-11 with six strikeouts.

Before he was placed on the disabled list, Kemp was hitting .251 with two home runs and 17 RBIs.
