(LOS ANGELES) — The Hollywood Walk of Fame reached a milestone on Thursday when it awarded Jennifer Lopez its 2,500th star.
At the ceremony, the singer, actress and former American Idol judge said she never sought out fame or money. She continued, “I just wanted to be good at what I did.”
Lopez said the Walk of Fame honor will inspire her to “work harder and dream bigger.”
She was joined at the ceremony by her “Live It Up” collaborator, Pitbull, who remarked that she has broken down “barriers, boundaries, cultures, countries, the Earth, and planets.”
Also there was her Monster-in-Law co-star Jane Fonda, who quipped that Lopez showed the world “the beauty of booty” and made it “easier for a whole lot of girls to love theirs, including me.”
