(DOVER, Del.) — Joey Logano loves racing at Dover International Speedway.
He led the final 34 laps Saturday to take home the victory in the 5-Hour Energy 200, winning his third straight Nationwide Series race at Dover.
“It is amazing to finally win for the captain, Roger Penske,” Logano said. “It feels good to get back in Victory Lane.”
Logano’s previous two victories at Dover came as a member of the Joe Gibbs Racing team. It was his 19th win in 114 career Nationwide starts.
Brian Vickers ran a close second, while Matt Kenseth, Trevor Bayne, and Kyle Busch rounded out the top five.
Busch won Friday’s Truck Series race, and dominated for much of Saturday. He led 72 of the 200 laps but could not hang on late.
Logano is the first NASCAR driver with three straight Dover wins in series history.
