Paris Jackson Reportedly ‘Smiling Again,’ Marilyn Manson Reaches Out
(LOS ANGELES) -- Paris Jackson was receiving visitors Thursday at the hospital where she remains following an apparent suicide attempt early Wednesday morning, according to reports.
Among the family members visiting the 15-year-old in a Los Angeles-area hospital were grandmother Katherine Jackson, mother Debbie Rowe, brother Prince Michael Jackson and aunt LaToya Jackson, according to People magazine. Former nanny, Grace Rwaramba, also stopped by.
“Paris is doing well, smiling again and can’t wait to see her friends,” a family source told the magazine.
The only daughter of the late Michael Jackson was taken to a hospital early Wednesday morning after a police radio dispatcher indicated a girl of the same age at her address had, “ODd on 20 Motrin and cut her arm with a kitchen knife.”
Marilyn Manson, meanwhile, has extended an invitation to Paris Jackson: She can be his guest any time. After unconfirmed reports surfaced that one of the reasons the 15-year-old reportedly attempted suicide may have been that she was not allowed to attend one of the goth rocker’s concerts, he sent a message to her through the website TMZ.
“I hope you feel better. You will be on my guest list anytime you want,” Manson, 44, told the website on Thursday.
“Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are,” Jackson family lawyer Perry Sanders said in a written statement Wednesday. “It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you [her father]. Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family’s privacy.”
The family source told People that Katherine Jackson and her fellow co-guardian, cousin T.J. Jackson, were discussing what to do after Paris Jackson is released.
