Smith held off Kyle Larson in the final 10 laps to take home the win.

It was Smith’s second victory of the season, his last was at Talladega back in May. But what is even more impressive is Smith’s level of consistency this season.

Smith now has 10 straight top-10 finishes, and eleven total in just thirteen starts.

His success at this point into the season has resulted in Smith taking the lead in the NASCAR Nationwide standings. He currently holds a 57-point lead over Sam Hornish Jr. for the top spot.

“We like having the points lead and that’s a big deal for us,” Smith said after the race. “We want to make sure we focus on that all year, but these trophies are hard to come by so we want to get as many as we can.”

Smith’s final margin of victory was .331 seconds.
