Reports: Andre Iguodala to Opt Out of Contract
Published at(NEW YORK) — Andre Iguodala’s days in Denver may be done. The Nuggets guard is expected to opt out of his contract for next season and become a free agent, according to multiple reports.
The All-Star averaged 13 points, 5.4 assists and 5.3 assists last season and is set to make $16.2 million next season.
Iguodala was one of the best defender’s for Denver last season and by opting out, he’ll have the options of signing a five-year contract with the team or a four-year deal with another one.
Denver was ousted by the Golden State Warriors in the playoffs and fired the NBA’s Coach of the Year, George Karl after a 57-25 season.
