(NEW YORK) — Tyra Banks knows a thing or two about shopping, as the former supermodel was dressed by the world’s most famous fashion designers. And now, she’s making those shoes, purses and dresses you see others wear on social media, easier to find and buy.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, Banks has invested in The Hunt, an online shopping site that helps shoppers buy those hard to place items they see on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, and other social networks.
“It truly sucks to discover a great style item but not be able to find and buy it. The Hunt solves that fashion dilemma in a fun and innovative way,” Banks told WWD. “What I love about The Hunt is that women help other women find their perfect outfit [head-to-toe]. I am excited to be part of this new approach to collective retail and styling.”
Along with her recent investment, the one-time Harvard Business School student is also getting ready for another season of her popular modeling competition, America’s Next Top Model. In its 20th season, the series will see men competing for the first time when it premieres on the CW on Aug. 2.
