Bike Pursuit Ends With Arrest

(POCATELLO, ID) – A Firth man was arrested on drug charges early Thursday after leading Pocatello Police on a pursuit. Authorities say 32-year-old Jesse Converse was riding his bike in the area of North Grant and West Carson streets at around 2:30 a.m. when officers on bikes attempted to stop him. Converse, who was accused of committing a crime, tried to speed away before being apprehended a short time later. Converse was arrested on outstanding warrants and possession of methamphetamine.
