(WATKINS GLEN, N.Y.) — Another Nationwide race, another win for Brad Keselowski after he won the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Watkins Glen on Saturday.
Keselowksi finally gets the win at Watkins Glen after finishing second three times in the past two years. Sam Hornish Jr. finished second while Brian Vickers finished third.
In five Nationwide races, Keselowski has won four times already. The other was a second place finish at Texas back in April.
Keselowski paced Joey Logano with 16 laps left in the race, and never looked back.
“I don’t know, it’s kind of hard to explain,” Keseloski said when he was asked about his feelings about Watkins Glen. “I can remember coming here with my dad (in the 1990’s) just always having a love affair with this track. There’s something about this track. I have a very deep appreciation for it. It’s been a great racetrack for me.”
As far as the point standings, Austin Dillon finished 12th at Watkins Glen, but still holds a slim three-point lead over Hornish Jr.
