Escaped Inmate Found in Idaho Falls

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An inmate who escaped from a work center in Boise last week has been arrested in Idaho Falls. Here’s 42-year-old Leah McCormack walked away from her job last Friday and was believed to have been traveling to eastern Idaho, where her convictions occurred. McCormack was serving time for a drug-related offense in Bannock County, and burglary in Bonneville County. Following a tip, deputies located and arrested McCormack on Wednesday without incident. She will likely face an escape charge. McCormack was due to be released in September of 2017.
