The results will be based on the judges’ scores from the first two weeks, plus the viewers’ votes that followed the season premiere.  At the moment, Bill Nye, a.k.a. “The Science Guy,” is in trouble because he had the lowest score of the first performance show.  He’ll return to the ballroom Monday with partner Tyne Stecklein for a passionate paso doble.

Nye tells ABC News Radio their routine will be a “complete contrast” from their cha cha cha last week.

Stecklein adds, “I think the judges will appreciate something more serious and strong, and get away from ‘The Science Guy’ thing a little bit.”

Valerie Harper is a safe bet to advance to next week’s show. Though her battle with cancer is well-documented, her partner, Tristan MacManus, isn’t easing up on her.

“I’m going to push her hard, I’m going to see how much more I can get out of her, in terms of everything. But certainly, a lot more hard work, and a lot more laughs, and hopefully a lot more appreciation from her and from me when we get to the end of the week,” he says.

Amber Riley can dance with confidence Monday night after earning the highest score last week with her cha cha cha. She’ll be tackling the jive, which she recently said she didn’t know much about.  But she vowed, “I’m going to learn!”

Dancing with the Stars airs on ABC Monday night at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
