Meat Company Recalls Ground Beef, May Contain Plastic
Published at(WASHINGTON) — After an investigation fueled by customer complaints, Central Valley Meat Company is recalling 58,240 pounds of ground beef that may contain small pieces of plastic.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported.
The recall includes 40-pound cases containing 10-pound packs of fine groud beef, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said Thursday.
The products were produced on April 1 and were shipped to distribution centers in Arkansas, California, Montana, and Texas. The products can be identified by the case code “6063A3091A” or “6063A3091B.”
