During the third quarter, Locker took a hit from defensive tackle Muhammad Wilkerson and Quinton Coples. Locker laid on the ground before he needed assistance getting up.

Locker was facing a make-or-break season this year as some were wondering if he would ever live up to expectations.

Before getting hurt, Locker was completing 62.2% of his passes. He had also thrown six touchdowns without a single interception.

Former Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is expected to take over the Locker till however long he is out. Locker is expected to return at some point this season.
