Trickett hooked up with Kevin White on a 17-yard touchdown in the first quarter to give the Mountaineers a 14-7 advantage.  They would lead the rest of the way.  The Florida State transfer completed 24 passes for 309 yards in the win, but also threw two interceptions.

Ishmael Banks returned an interception 58 yards for a score to help the Mountaineers (3-2, 1-1 Big 12) bounce back from its first shutout loss in 11 years.

Oklahoma State (3-1, 0-1) turned the ball over four times. They was more than they had in their first three games combined.  Quarterback J.W. Walsh threw three touchdown passes and two interceptions.
