The camera, valued at $500,000, was stolen from an SUV belonging to a film crew while they ate at an IHOP restaurant in Chamblee, Ga., on Oct. 12, according to police.

The crew was going to use the camera inside a helicopter to capture aerial shots.

The Miami company that owns the camera is offering a reward of $5,000.

Production on Dumb and Dumber To, with Carrey and Daniels reprising their roles of Lloyd and Harry and the Farrelly brothers back as directors, began last month in Atlanta. The comedy is due out sometime next year.
