(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An ambulance was involved in a two-vehicle collision northeast of Idaho Falls Friday afternoon.  Investigators say 38-year-old Brian Wood, a paramedic with the Idaho Falls Fire Department, had just pulled off U.S. Highway 26 and onto Ammon Road when his ambulance was struck by another vehicle. The ambulance had its lights and sirens on at the time, and Wood and his two passengers were wearing their seat belts. The other driver, who officials identified as Ryan Wetzel, was transported to EIRMC with undisclosed injuries.
