Bob Barker to Appear on “The Price Is Right” for 90th Birthday

Vincent Sandoval/WireImage(NEW YORK) — The Price Is Right will welcome back its former longtime host, Bob Barker, this December in celebration of his 90th birthday.
CBS announced on Tuesday that Barker will make a special appearance on the episode airing Dec. 12, the day he turns 90. He will “present a special showcase.”
In the other episodes airing the week of Dec. 9, the game show will highlight pet adoptions. As host of The Price Is Right, Barker would often remind his viewers to “help control the pet population” by having their pets spayed or neutered.
Barker hosted The Price Is Right from 1972 to 2007, when he was replaced by Drew Carey.
