(BOISE, ID) – Most of the 850 Idaho National Guard members who have been furloughed because of the government shutdown are scheduled to come back to work this week. A spokesman for the guard said that some members would return today, with most coming back on Tuesday. This comes after U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, ordered that more than 350,000 defense workers be allowed back to work. The move was praised by Republicans and Democrats alike, who have otherwise reached a standstill on budget negotiations.
