Mark Thompson/Getty Images(YEONGAM, South Korea) — Three-time defending Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel captured the checkered flag in Sunday’s running of the Korean Grand Prix.

The 26-year-old Vettel won his fourth consecutive race by 4.2 seconds over drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean of Lotus. He has led every lap during his winning streak.

Vettel now leads Fernando Alonso by 77 points in the championship standings with five races remaining. If he wins next weekend’s race in Japan and Alonso finishes worse than eighth, he will join Michael Schumacher and Juan-Manuel Fangio as the only drivers to win four straight titles.
