(BOISE, ID) – Two patas monkeys at Zoo Boise have recently given birth. The mothers, who are sisters, were brought to the zoo after a man broke into the zoo and killed a monkey last December. The mothers share a 1,500 square foot exhibit with an older male named Incus. Officials say the mothers and their babies are doing well and adjusting quickly to their new home. The suspect in last December’s burglary was charged with felony attempted grand theft and is currently enrolled in a one-year treatment program.
