(GOLD COAST, Australia) — Defending Masters Champion Adam Scott captured the Australian PGA on Sunday, by four strokes over playing partner Rickie Fowler.
Through 11 holes, Scott was holding a one shot lead over Fowler and Jack Wilson when play was suspended due to dangerous weather conditions. When play resumed, Scott scored a 1-foot eagle putt. He would go on to birdie 14 and 15 en route to his third tournament victory of the year.
Scott becomes just the sixth Australian golfer to win the Australian PGA, the Australian Open and Australian Masters titles.
