(BOISE, ID) – Gov. Butch Otter is speaking out against a recent string of vandalism cases that left three LDS Churches in Chubbuck covered with graffiti. Otter says the vandalism disrespects the culture and values Idahoans of all faiths hold dear, noting that it shows a fundamental disregard for sacred spaces, social order, and the freedoms Americans have sacrificed their lives to protect. Chubbuck Police say those responsible will be charged with felonies and possible hate crimes, though no suspects have been named.
