(NAPLES, Fla.) — Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig was arrested for reckless driving in South Florida, after the Florida Highway Patrol clocked him going 110 mph in a 70 mph zone.
Puig, driving a 2013 white Mercedes, was pulled over by officers near mile marker 99 in Collier County at approximately 9:30 am on Saturday, according to a news release. He was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with reckless driving and was taken to the Collier County Jail for processing.
In April, the 23-year-old Puig was arrested for reckless driving, by authorities in Chattanooga, Tenn. after he was clocked going 97 mph in a 50 mph zone. The charges were later dismissed after he completed community service in Los Angeles.
