(CHUBBUCK, ID) – The Chubbuck-Pocatello Hockey Association is close to having their ice rink completed. The group has spent the past few frigid nights making ice with hoses from the Chubbuck Fire Department. The rink, which is located at Capell Park, will likely be open to the public for ice skating this evening as long as the weather stays cool enough. The club has spent tens of thousands of dollars and just as many man-hours installing a refrigeration system under the ice. They hope to have it up and running once the electrical work is completed on the compressor.
