Texas head coach Mack Brown announced he’d be resigning after the Alamo Bowl this weekend and athletic director Steve Patterson has an “A-list” of coaches, according to ESPN NFL insider Chris Mortensen.

“I understand you have to ask the question,” Kelly said Monday, “but I’m not involved in any jobs. I’m the coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. I’m going to prepare for the Bears and prepare for the Cowboys after that. Hopefully, we have an opportunity to go to the playoffs and I’m going to be here for a while.”

Kelly and the Eagles sit atop the NFC East by one game over the Dallas Cowboys with two weeks remaining.

“I really don’t know,” Kelly said. “I haven’t talked to anybody. It’s just speculation. I haven’t spoken to anybody.”

Before taking over in Philadelphia this season, Kelly coached at the University of Oregon for four seasons and led the Ducks to a 46-7 record.
