English Village to Be Renamed for “Game of Thrones”

HBO(LONDON) — A rural English village is planning a tribute to the HBO series Game of Thrones that doesn’t involve violence or bloodshed.
The village of Kings Langley in Hartfordshire, England, plans to rename itself the fictional Game of Thrones city of Kings Landing next month, the website Radio Times reports.
The village is being renamed to promote the release of Game of Thrones Season 3 on DVD.
A Game of Thrones producer reportedly heard the town announced as a stop while waiting for a train in London and contacted the village to make the name change.
Game of Thrones returns for its fourth season this spring.
