Falcons Have Faith in 2014

David Dermer/Diamond Images/Getty Images(ATLANTA) -- After finishing 4-12 this past season, the Atlanta Falcons are hoping for better results in 2014. Falcons' owner Arthur Blank addressed the state of the team on Monday and said he believes the team can turn things around.

"I have confidence in our leadership and team's ability to be able do that," Blank said. "That is one of the beauties of the NFL, is that in July and August every fan in America has a reason to believe their team can go from last to first."

Blank insisted that the fans should have faith in the organization and that this past season won't snowball into 2014.

"Given the prior five years and our expectations and our commitment to excellence, I have every reason to believe that we will go from last to first in 2014," Blank said confidently.

The Falcons have the No. 6 overall pick in April's NFL Draft.
