(ROBERTS, ID) – A Roberts man has been sentenced for insurance fraud.  Forty-seven-year-old Michael Pincock will serve seven days in jail, two years probation, and pay $500 in fines. In August 2011, Pincock made a false claim with American Family Insurance alleging the loss of a wedding ring set valued at nearly $6,000. Investigators say Pincock tried to get his estranged wife to sign the loss claim form. The woman refused because the diamond from the ring had been lost in a camping trip in 2004.
