burglar shot

(POCATELLO, ID) – A burglar wielding a machete was shot in Pocatello Saturday morning.  Police say the suspect tried to maneuver his way into a neighbor’s apartment on the 200-block of South Garfield. After the tenants forced him to leave, he then managed to break into another unit downstairs, where he was met with gunfire. The shooter says the intruder is a veteran who believes the “military had abandoned him.” The suspect, whose name has not been released, remains in intensive care with three gunshot wounds to his torso.
