134843 OS 0818 ful? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1391766831274ABC/Lou Rocco(NEW YORK) — Rosie O’Donnell admits she felt slightly uncomfortable when she returned to ABC’s The View as a guest.

O’Donnell is a guest on Friday’s show, which was pre-taped.

“It feels kind of weird,” the 51-year-old admits, adding, “but good weird.”

O’Donnell is returning to promote her guest appearance on ABC Family’s hit series, The Fosters.

It marks the first time O’Donnell has appeared on the ABC daytime talk show since she left the panel in 2007.

View creator Barbara Walters said it was the perfect time for O’Donnell to return.

“We had some good times. We had some bad times, but they were never boring,” Walters said in her introduction of O’Donnell. “Rosie has not been back here since she left seven years ago. We thought now was the perfect time — Valentine’s time, heart, everything — to catch up.”

During her stint as co-host of The View, O’Donnell was well-known for her strong opinions. At one point, she had a very public falling out with then-co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

ABC’s The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. Eastern time.
