California Man Threatened to Shoot People If He Got Retweets

Los Angeles Police Department(LOS ANGELES) — A tweet has scored a Los Angeles man criminal charges and a trip to a jail cell.
Dakkari McAnuff has been arrested and charged with making criminal threats, the Los Angeles Police Department announced Thursday.
McAnuff’s arrest comes after he allegedly made a posting on Twitter that caught the attention of law enforcement. Los Angeles Police said on Wednesday morning they were informed about a tweet of a photo showing a rifle pointing in the direction of various Los Angles city streets with the caption: “100 RT’s (Retweets) and I’ll shoot someone walking.”
Investigators were able to determine the location the photos were taken from, along with the identity of the Twitter account user. Officers then went to McAnuff’s home and took him into custody.
Police said an air rifle was recovered at the scene.
