Car Collides With Train in Pocatello

(POCATELLO, ID) – A driver was hospitalized following a collision with a train south of Pocatello Tuesday night. The accident happened just after 7:10 p.m. near the intersection of Blackrock Canyon Road and Old Highway 91. Twenty-one year old Ryan Lish was traveling north when he drove his Honda into the moving train.  He was taken to P.M.C. where his condition has not been released.   Emergency crews remained at the scene for more than an hour, causing minor delays until the wreckage could be cleared. The crash remains under investigation.
